Phakic Lens Implantation

About the service

Phakic intraocular lens (IOL) implantation is an ophthalmic procedure used to correct significant refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism) when traditional laser correction is not possible or insufficient.

A phakic lens is a special, thin intraocular lens implanted into the eye without removing the natural lens. It functions as an additional “internal contact lens”, improving visual acuity.
